Where do you get this from, Lux? My calculations were based on 5150 members.

Drencrom,

On the first page of this forum, scroll down to the bottom and you will see the numbers of total members (5812 right now) and the total number of posts etc.

There appear to be a few glitches in the vBulletin database.

I believe that it was mentioned on another thread that the total number of posts may not agree between the number calculated by the database and the number that actually exist.

I guess it all depends on whether numbers are based on the current counter value compared to an actual count of valid records.

No glitch (that I know of) but forums that are set to not track from the point of view of updating individual user counts (e.g. off-topic forum) also don't count from a post/thread count perspective.

Thanks for counting drencom

I thought there were more 'regulars' for some reason?!

Thanks again,

Dan.

I find it a bit strange.

This tells me there are 5.819 members but if you go the other way and look, there are 516 pages each one listing 10 members. 5,819 or 5160?

I think the higher count includes unconfirmed members i.e. members who have not acted on the Welcome email.

It's not a bug (as such), but it is inconsistent.

Any chance of having a summary screen of the different *official* number of users? Since most of us are interested in this topic already?
