Choosing 'other'. Miss some important services, like FastMail, Pobox, Runbox, EuMX, Rollernet.

Agreed.

I wonder how many will vote for "favourites" AOL and Yahoo!

Yandex all the way. Stable and secure account...lots to offer. I also have now 42 gigs at their Disk (cloud) service for FREE! Seldomly get spam, and when it comes...it is delivered were it belongs...in the SPAM folder.

Very pleased with Yandex. 100%.They also seem to have an office in the Netherlands, but servers are located in Russia(Moscow).

Interface and apps can be set in various languages (ao in English or Spanish) On creating a new account a cell phone number is NOT necessary, allthough it is better to do so regarding savety.

mail.ru is a very close second best! The Russians know their trade:-)

Regarding AOL it is a real pain in the A§§§§ to use their services....and even more difficult to delete an account! Good Lord I tried...several times.

I TRIED (yes...TRIED) to delete an AOL email account years ago...it's still there..!!! Even though I log in every 12 months or so just to see if it's active. It just wont die:-( After several bad experiences I do NOT use this account ever for anything halfway serious regarding email communication. Even if you think you deleted it...and you log in after 12 months...it simply askeds the security question...and if you answer correctly...BOING...the account is there again!!:-( iow they do NOT delete the account, they just DEactivate it.

I realy hope the new owner will make a better email service out of AOL (combined with yahoo)...but I have my doubts about that.

Unfortunately, it would only let me put in 10 so I tried to go for the most mainstream ones I could think of.
