I have used POBox.com in the past to do just that using multiple domains. Worked pretty well, though I had a couple of customer service glitches that were frustrating when I was trying to delete some domains and add others. Just didn't work the way it was supposed to and proved way too hard for them to sort out. I suspect most people wouldn't hit that problem.

From my personal experience and reviews I read, I believe in these two options:
Bluehost hosting and
Hostinger email hosting

The link in the OP's post is broken. Here's an official Gmail help article on how to send email for your domain for free using Gmail: https://support.google.com/domains/answer/9437157
