Netvibes

I was almost tempted to place this one in the email software department. There aren't enough words to express everything this "portal" can do.

It's just excellentissimo!!!

Oh, almost forgot!

That's what I've been telling the list for the last 3-4 weeks! Forget anything that yahoo, MS, google can do - if you want a portal of infinite design possibilities here it is. Good by to myway as well....

What about the security?

Is it safe to give your gmail username and password to see your mail on the netvibes page?

Would have to ask Webmail.us (and others) the same.

Look through their blogg - question has been raised before.....

Why not just delete that 'module' from netvibes? I use firefox anyhow and have a great extension called Gmail manager which checks all my gmail accounts and an extension which also automatically checks a yahoo(beta) acct i've been using.

Once you start seeing the beauty of netvibes you won't look back....

Thanks!

GMail Manager

YMail Notifier

I'm on 1.5.0.1 and both work beautifully. (also will work on seamonkey)

i use a firefox extention NoScript, and by opening the page it allows statcounter.com.

not sure if by signing up you are subject to it.

Netvibes move over?

It may be so. Pageflakes.com is worth the time to consider. I find it much more flexible than Netvibes.
