The reason I want to join is because of the short domain name. GMX.net...fewer than all other email providers.
But I have no idea what the ROAD house number is and the field after that.... |

GMX is it like web.de also in German
I joined web.de cause they allow you to live outside of germany.
I didn't ahve to fake any german addresse that way. but the german was too hard for me to get so I gave it all up. web.de has a lot of advertizing. GMX must have a contract that if you give fake addresses and prend to be a german citizen then they are allowed to delete your account without telling you don't they. I would feel bad cheating on them. Am I too sensitive then? FMnewbe that now also have a BB account, Much easier to set up pop on that one. Now I need to get what an alias is. Does gmx have aliases |

But: Just the postal address(!) you give must be vaild, not your name. That means: They check if the postal code fits to the city and street. That´s easy to check and that´s the only way they can. GMX cannot examine if you´re really living there. BTW @fmnewbie: Doesn´t web.de only allows 1000 stored emails in your account? Greetings, Gabriel |

web.de 1000 emails
have no idea meine Deuch? ist unbefintlich. Keine ubung und keine worter in meine kopf
enough of trying to search for those old words. Studieert german fur drei semesters? neunsich zei und siebsich? crazy. But it feels bad to cheat on gmx not living there if that si what they ask you to agree on. One will feel bad about it during sleep when the day moral get changed for the bodies real fell for it so one get haunted by nightmares you will see |

Dreamer none fo these have pop
Why we discuss gmx.de is that they have pop access adn have big quota. Or is nto that combination why it is soo popular so one want to cheat?
Ok maybe one never should give right data ever. Some say. I give the right data most of the time. Yahoo hotmail Bluebottle and as many as I remember but a few that I didn't trust I gave false info too. Don't remember now, was years ago? Majority of users here never give their real names soem threads indicate. So this wil lset up a kind of armes race GMX asking for true knowledge fo german to be able to phone you and get positive indication it is you |

In my experience GMX is more reliable than Yahoo and GMail. That is not to say that Yahoo isn't reliable, it is more reliable than most other services, but GMX is even more reliable. GMail is still in beta and is quite often down. |

what does their agreement say?
jhs you live in schwitzerland sorry spelling wrong out of poor memory.
you understand their german. What is it they say. suppose I long for to have a free GMX.de account then. I pretend me to be a foreigner only knowing english but living in Germany. I give a workable Strazze und hause number. How seriously would they take such. Tell the authorities in my homecountry? Ask the Interpool to get me? or just delete me when they find out. all saved files goes poof? or do they have soo many subscribers that they simply don't care about a few thousand outsiders of Germany freeridign on their service? Very tempting to join them |
