From the description they give, it looks like it is Gmail with their own custom domain name.

Interesting! But upon checking in the website, nothing told about pricing. If free, for how much time? If or when not free, what is the price?
And, no contact information found. OKAY, JUST NOW FOUND THE INFORMATION on prices. Not free! No plans are free. No free trial. No free anything. You have to click on the Get@Spaceemail button to see this. |

While checking more carefully, there is offered 1 month for free; and then there are listed some every more expensive plans.

At first I wondered if this thread is about Spacemail (the mail host associated with Spaceship). I guess not.

Are you sure it's a Google service rather than a third party who cooperates with Google for their service? (comparable to how Yahoo has hosted several "external" email services)
It does look like they got some decent domains to choose from. @you.email and @web.email are great names. The price tag is a bit too high for my liking. |

They also offer domain registration in over 500 TLDs. This includes 2FA, unlimited subdomains, domain forwarding, a customisable "parked domain" page with content of your choice while using the email service with your own domain, ... No prices given though here. They claim to keep prices low, but I wonder if there is a catch ; for example does the customer really own the domains as if it were registered by for example Namecheap, GoDaddy etc?
More info on the differences between Gmail and Space here. Space Email is located in the UK, so there's at least one difference with Gmail. |
