ALG,
Thanks, but nothing has been down... Have you seen the US => Europe network problem threads? - Geir |

Geir,
The problem I see in the traceroute is in Norway backbone. I understand that you are saying that you have no control over that. inetnum: 193.75.3.0 - 193.75.3.255 netname: KQ-NO-CORE descr: KPNQwest Norway, Oslo descr: Backbone PtP networks country: NO admin-c: EH31-RIPE tech-c: EH31-RIPE status: ASSIGNED PA mnt-by: AS2116-MNT remarks: INFRA-AW changed: **********@Norway.EU.net 20010309 changed: **********@kpnqwest.no 20020417 source: RIPE So is this the gateway from US to EU? Being the US I am not familiar with EU backbones. Thanks, AL |

Well, I am not sure, but your traceroute output doesn't really show a problem. Whenever I do a traceroute, it looks like this.
Maybe "v202.rs1.sand.no.catchbone.net" or another router is filtering icmp/udp? Last edited by che : 9 May 2006 at 04:13 PM. |

The service isn't down but it's very slow. Particularly when accessing messages. Seems like a problem with the message db.
