NetZero goes DOTcom
Dear NetZero member,
To make the NetZero e-mail service even easier for you to use, now you can use either @netzero.com OR @netzero.net for your e-mail address. In the past, NetZero e-mail addresses always ended with @netzero.net. If you use @netzero.net, you don't have do anything different at this time. E-mail sent to you at either address will still reach you. This change will be most noticeable when you use the new NetZero WebMail service, where you will be able to choose between sending e-mail from @netzero.com or @netzero.net. NetZero WebMail will be available to all NetZero members soon, giving you the ability to check your NetZero e-mail from any computer with an Internet connection. Stay on the look out for more information. If you have any questions about using @netzero.com in your e-mail address, please feel free to send an e-mail to us at instantanswers@support.netzero.com. This automated help e-mail can answer many frequently-asked questions. Sincerely, NetZero Member Services |

Yes, there are still a few

We've had a NetZero account for a few years and my wife still receives stuff from some mailing lists at that address. I send it to our primary accound by a combination of POP retrieval and forwarding. So yes, there are some folks who still "use" NetZero, although probably not the way you meant. Best wishes, David P. |

OMG DAVE IS ALIVE! :)
......
lolol, Dave! Finally, I haven't seen you post here in a while...lol...I feel like I am an outcast now with all this surging in of new people...my god, you should see the post rank of some of these people, it's like 4 times my amount in a fraction less time being a member, lol...not too many of the original people post here anymore...lvsheng, emailmaniac, mikey, nikolaos, clemen, etc...they seem to be here less and less. Glad to see you're still lurking. Tripsta |

I still pop by every now and then, but the constant dwindling away of so many of our favorite old sites left me little to contribute. But I gotta hand it to you, Trip, you *are* the most hard-working introducer on this board. Runbox, Fastmail, NetIdentity, MailSnare and, most recently, the new-and-improved 321.net... why, the services you've brought to our attention reads like the A-list of the email world. I don't know how you do it, but I'm glad to see you're still going strong! Great to see you around again! (And warm regards to my old bud Dave P in StLouis also!) Best, Dave the Emailmaniac |

Anyway, welcome back, Dave! Seriously, I don't even visit the site every day and I only post when I feel I have something to contribute. Still, it does feel wierd that most of the current moderators weren't even members when I joined, that RunBox was "free for life" (the same privilege [a lifetime account] costs $200 these days), that Visto was the ultimate in webmail (in case anyone's wondering, Visto is no longer in business), and that nobody had ever heard of FastMail or Jeremy Howard. If you're fairly new here, let me tell you, it's been a wild ride and it ain't over yet. Hang onto your hats! Wheee!
