new design problem
Please change the trash (empty) design on the web page as I clicked it by mistake as I was going to my trashbasket to pull a couple of things out of it. Now they are gone for good. Perhaps put the empty link away from the trash link so this doesn't happen to someone else. Anyway of pulling them out?

Ahhh I'm not the only one who's done this! Yes I agree it's easy to do and confusing the first time you see it. I never thought to bring it up because I now use Outlook for all my Fastmailing.
I agree though it might not be a bad idea to separate that function out a bit. May not be a problem for some but I did the same thing that timbifolks did and lost something I had hoped to retrieve. |

Or maybe require a final comfirmation by the user? (Something like "are you sure?.....")

Agreed. And maybe this could be user configurable? Such as a 'Confirmation' option that people could check or uncheck if they don't wish to have this as a step.

I too have very nearly clicked "Empty" numerous times. I really do think there should be a confirmation message by default, which users can over-ride if they use it regularly.

If there is to be a confirmation message, I would like it to be configurable (we can choose whether or not to see it.)

A confirmation for irrevocable acts like permanent deletion would be a good idea.
