PopPeeper has added a plugin for Gmail. It is beta because not all the normal read features are included.

http://www.poppeeper.com/cgi-bin/yab...num=1093295208

PopPeeper is a email notifier program which can read emails from all POP3 services, and many web base services, including Yahoo, Hotmail and now Gmail.

I've heard of this Gmail drive shell extension that integrates your Gmail account with Windows Explorer.

Munchkin - I was going to post that too; but I've been sick and it just kind of went by the wayside. Thanks for posting that. I think it's mostly just using a stylesheet in Firefox? That's the way it seems but I'll try it later and see what happens.

Attach@Gmail

http://diskhub.com/diskhub/uploads/0...tach@gmail.zip

From GmailForums

Quote:
It has the following features:

. Download all gmail attachments, or select a group of attachments to download
. Proxy server support
. Identify groups from email subjects and store files to subdirectories named by groups

It is still in development, and more features will be added in the future. You comments are welcomed.

Lightbulb ARTICLE: How to use Gmail as your second brain

We all suffer from information overload.

I publish a newsletter and wrote an article this week on a technique
that I use Gmail for to keep track of ideas, information, resources,
URLs, snippets of code and information from discussion lists, etc. I
think you'll find it interesting and useful. If so, please feel free
to link to or forward the URL internally at your company.

See:

Happy New Year!
