Question How to Set Default Number of Aliases Displayed?

Is there a way to set the number of aliases displayed on the Aliases page? I'd like to use 50 instead of the default 20.

Thanks.

No, this always defaults to 20 and you can't change it. Here is the current way these number of items settings seem to operate on the various screens:
  • Mailbox screen: Messages to display setting at the bottom of the screen is not saved when changing screens. However, you can set this by folder in the Options>Folders setup screen, or you can set all folders to display the same number of messages in the Folders screen.
  • Address Book screen: Contacts to display setting is remembered when you leave the screen and later return. Surprisingly, independent values seem to be stored by the normal and beta (http://www.fastmail.fm/beta) login sessions.
  • Aliases and Virtual domains screens: Aliases to display setting at the bottom of the screen is not saved when changing screens.

Thanks, Bill. Odd this is inconsistent, as it's a useful feature, saves time and clicks.
It should be available for every display screen, I think.

Maybe I'll request it, though I doubt it's high priority.

I agree, Ellen. I will send a comment to Rob Mueller about this inconsistency.

Thanks, Bill. I also posted a message about this yesterday in the Features Request section.
