Certain Images Not Loading in Webmail
Using Runbox webmail via Chrome browser on an iMac. Seemingly out of the blue, certain images aren't loading when viewing received messages. But other images do show. Most of those that don't load seem to be logos and headers of the sort that will show if the message were opened as a webpage. For example, when viewing an email newsletter from a news site, the logo for the news site that should appear at the top of the message body does not appear -- only the bluish colored box that indicates where an image should be. I have Runbox webmail preferences set for loading all external/remote images, and Chrome settings also allow image downloading.
Any suggestions? Thank you. |

Seem to have figured this out. It was having enabled general "protection" settings in my antivirus program. Once those settings are turned off, images appear in webmail messages as expected. Still, one does not want to have to disable/enable those protection settings everytime one goes to read email., so remaining open to suggestions.
Thanks. |
