Simple issue with the new interface

I am sure this is right in front of me but I cannot see the simple way of adding a new address to my address book from a message (as opposed to copying the data into 'New Contact' field by field). Plus adding that new address to whatever groups are appropriate. The classical interface made this very simple. I am sure this simplicity was preserved somewhere in the new interface but I just cannot see it.

Thanks for answering.

Where is this "name vs email address option"? Does it literally say exactly that somewhere?

Anyway when I click on just the email subject or address I do not see an option that seems to be "asking if I want to add to my address book".

??

Fred
Click on 'Show Details' next to receiver name.
On the From Line, click on sender.
A pop-up will give you the option to add to address book.
