FastMail File Storage - Password Protect Folder
I've set up a folder for one of my websites and I've added a password.
That does work, but the pop-up box to login to the folder includes a field for user name as well as password. Anyone know the reason for that - the user name field is not used, only the password field. |

IIRC, it's been like that forever. On the login dialog, just click on or TAB to the password field and enter it.

My Tuppence Worth...
Doesn't look very professional. Will it work if you put the password in both fields, or can you use a dummy user name?
This would be easier to publicise.... PS: How's the promised photo gallery improvements going? |

The user name field is probably just ignored, just don't put anything in it. A 'dummy user name' might or might not cause an error.

The user name field entry is ignored. So you can tell people to put nothing in that field or tell them to put anything you wish in that field.
