I see that the MXRoute support page was fixed. That's reassuring

Really excited about the first beta for v2 coming either tonight or tomorrow. The test bed will involve hosted e-mail at a pre-determined shared domain, rather than a "bring your own domain" option. It will be a permanent option from that point forward.

After recent improvements in encryption at MXroute, it is apparently possible still to nitpick over cipher strength.

Well, it's Friday night (unless you're in Asia). Not do diminish the importance of strong crypto, but you might decide to tipple with something more fun than an energy drink.

Everclear + red bull = amazing things

I've not previously done much with ciphers in nginx configuration, so this should be fun. I'm a big Apache fan and I can't wait to cut VestaCP out of the MXroute equation for that reason.

So long as an admin panel of some type continues to be implemented and backups can be continue to be downloaded and deleted by the admin, I'm all for it...

Yeah the goal is not to remove any existing functionality, only to make it all more user friendly and accessible, and all developed in house.

By the way, beta is live

By the way, regarding your hosted domain email, I do appreciate the minimal headers that you provide (or rather the information that you do not provide such as the actual account name). Will be testing out your shared domain offering shortly...

Me too. I pulled it when I realized it didn't work with the sieve filter plugin.

FYI, I signed up for the free sharedmail MXroute.ORG account this morning, but the welcome e-mail "New Service Activated" shows MXroute.COM info.

Just curious, are there any plans to offer any webmail other than Roundcube?

I was thinking this too but I didn't want to say it. My vote would be for SquirelMail with no JavaScript. There's at least a small number of us who go for that threadbare style.

You know, this is the mildly humorous part about what is a well established and widely utilized billing/provisioning system known as Blesta. You have site-wide service activation e-mails and you have individual product activation e-mails. The first one works fine, the second one worked wonderfully during the test phase and then it just...stopped. My fix/feature requests are piling up. Thanks for noting this. I've adjusted the site-wide e-mail. It's going to add to confusion but my short term resolution would be to rip out the billing system.

Basically amounts to this:
Login URL: mxroute.org
Username: [do not include @mxroute.org]

At the moment there is not. All feature implementations have been considered as additions to Roundcube integration. I'll add it to my list of things to consider though.
