SSL login problem

Hi,

I'm having a problem logging in using SSL with Opera 6.05. Here's what happens:
1. I point my browser to www.fastmail.fm
2. My browser is redirected to https://mail.messagingengine.com/mai...;MSignal=MB-@0 (presumably because my last login was secure)
3. I type my username and password.
4. I get the following error:
Quote:
The session you are trying to use has expired. This is either because you were inactive for more than 2 hours or clicked the Logout button. Please enter your user name and password to login again and I'll try and continue from where you left off. If you were trying to send an email, DON'T PANIC, just log in below again and I'll send it off.
5. I type in my username and password again
6. The login succeeds

This happens whenever I try to login, even after clearing cookies, cache etc.

Any ideas? Thanks

Mark

My question, too:

What link should I use now so I can go directly to secure login and have to login only once instead of twice?

Going to http://www.fastmail.fm should work fine - at least it does for me.

Are you sure you've tried clearing all your cookies, both in www.fastmail.fm and in mail.messagingengine.com ?

I deleted the cookies for www.fastmail.fm and mail.messagingengine.com, quit IE and reopened the browser. I still have to log in twice and get the same message:

The only way I've found to avoid the double log in is to check "Save password." This is annoying because I like to avoid reaching for the mouse.

Actually, I think I've just been able to reproduce this. I'll look into it.
