Yes, the exact message is something like "this file is not commonly downloaded so it could pose some risk". I'm afraid this is a catch-22 / chicken-and-the-egg problem so this won't disappear until many people download it! :-(

This is typical of seldom-downloaded files. I also received both messages. Not a particularly big deal, and I am sure most downloaders will understand why.

I've managed to re-gain access to the fastcheck.org admin panel (there was an indirect loop created by the theme it was using and the host company support fixed the issue in just a few minutes after I opened the ticket!).
So I've added a news on the home page and info about the new release. This should automatically send notifications to people who have the "notify about new version" toggled on. I should really completely redo fastcheck.org - I can't believe FastCheck is already 12 years old and the internet looked completely different back then! Eric |

Many thanks to Eric for fixing this officially, so we don't have to resort to cludges any more! Everything is looking good, except maybe that for me personally, the older blue-on-green check mark and black-on-yellow message notification icons were somewhat more attention-grabbing than the new version's. I guess I'll have to get used to it.

Maybe there could be an option to get back the old notification icons? |

Could you please explain in detail what you did to get back the icons from the old version? Thank you! Oded. |
