sony ericsson k700i / IMAP

Hi,

is there anyone out there who has tried the sony-ericsson k700i with IMAP from fastmail?
I'm very curious how the speed and the looks are...

i use it in serbia without any major problems. i had a bit of trouble configuring it as you have to write the incoming and outgoing server as "fastmail.fm" without the "www"

i'm more than happy with it now, it tends to down load the messages relatively fast around 2 mins for about 10 new messages. not the same as broadband but a lot more mobile

My T68i works well with IMAP. No subfolders though. If you have problems setting it up, do a search on this forum for T68i. I am finding that the wap is better than the built in IMAP client. I guess the client in the K700i may be better though.

not as far as i can see, though i guess you could "pop" the subfolders using the new features since the cyrus upgrade as mentioned in the weblog

Another alternative is to get the Java-program EmailViewer from http://www.reqwireless.com. Quite slick and does subfolders etc.
