How about RSS feeds?

i was wondering if it was possible to get a newsfeed of a forum or a thread? does this service currently exist on this website? i couldn't see it anywhere. i've seen it in use on other forums and it seems pretty cool. have no idea what effect it would have on your bandwidth though but it's a nice usability enhancement imho.

any thoughts?

It would require a customization of the forum software, which Edwin in the past has stated is not going to happen, as it would make the upgrade process difficult.

However, a third party (That is, user rob_au) has created an externally generated RSS feed for EMD:
