Message to the Moderators

I have been reporting posts as spam recently, that have not been removed.

Either no one is reading the spam reports, or someone has decided the posts are not spam.

In the case of the latter, it would be at the very least a courtesy to advise me, and not just leave me guessing.

I'm trying my best, as a long term member and a current participant in the forum, to assist in keeping the forum active and relevant for all.

A little support would be nice.

First - the reports are being read.
If you are referring to links in the signature in Public Profile, they are not considered enough to ban a member.
Grounds for a ban is spamming in the threads.

If one or two of the reports were of the Roadrunner outgoing mail server is not working thread, I (or to be precise my McAfee Web Advisor) can confirm that this thread is a thinly-disguised phishing attack, and the "two" posters in it are probably only one.

Ya I have seen that happen alot....... One time on a site I was on 2 new members started posting (TALKING TO THEMSELVES (The same person)) and trying to advertise something... When I exposed them it hit the fan!! (Shortly after the staff deleted the thread and the 2 members)

Its really quite sad........ I think Jeff and ReuvenNY are doing a good job

I haven't noticed any particular uptick in spam in recent months. Indeed, I haven't seen ANY spam on the site for quite a while.

You are lucky, you log in after others have reported spam and it was removed...
