My goodness, I got the idea already! (TheCounter.com)
TheCounter.com is going completely for-fee on August 1st. I used to use it a lot, but took it off my site one day, got rid of the site itself, and forgot about the counter.
Well, I've received THREE e-mails in the last 60 hours telling me the service is going completely for-fee! THREE of them! OK, guys, I got the idea!  Still not paying ya, though. |

I use www.ultimatecounter.com on my personal site. However, www.sitemeter.com keeps stats, and I'll probably switch over to that. Both are free.

I finally saw my "notice" of going for fee..... They were part of the stat mails that I never read.... no wonder I don't get mine. Can't blame the users when their counters suddenly got stopped due to they don't read the usual counter stats.
