Android app to access FastMail
I have been using the FM app alongside K9 mail.
K9 appears to be quicker. Am I just lucky or are others finding this too. My modus operandii now is to read mail with K-9 in preference to the FM app. NJSS |

Just for the record; for me personally the FM mobile (Apple) app is very quick to load and I have no issue with load times at all.

Well, the FM app is great to get calendars and contacts too, but k9 works very well for me (you can also see the notes in k9).
The problem here is that now we are using a "full access" password and I don't like it. I was using a limited account before, knowing that if my device was hacked they could read my emails but nothing more (not deleting messages, etc). But now, using k9 or even FM app without writing the code every time (it would be a torture) then we are in risk like never before. So, thanks FM for 2FA with our master password, but I think you should maintain "full access or not" in the passwords of the apps or many members will be less secure now than ever. |

The fastmail app includes a browser, so it's huge.
If fastmail staff is listening, why don't you use chrome custom tabs instead? |
