Antivirus block phishing and hacking?
Hi,
I’m running a computer internet service for 5 months. I want to know whether the antivirus is able to filter phishing and skimming. Currently, I’m using an antivirus free version that is installed free when we got the systems. I found a blog (http://www.billfixer.com/online-frau...d-online-fraud) when I searched about the security measures and found out the phishing and skimming by stealing the credit card information. Most of the customers are using their credit card to pay online. Please advise us with the security measures and antivirus to filter these types of theft. Thanks. |

Few Questions
What kind of computer are you using? Mac or PC
Mac's usually are really good (Chrome) with controlling pop ups etc so phishing shouldn't be an issue you should worry about. As far as anti-virus goes, that is more of a PC thing and I advice you to get a full version of whatever software you are suing. Free ones don't get updated. You need a constant update to make sure your PC is protected at all times. |
