Question Proxy/tunneling - need "Idiots guide"...

Hi everyone. After trying out the guest account I will signup for a enhanced account - if I can figure out how to use FM with my proxy/tunneling service. I use tunneling to proxy via PuTTY. Mail client is Eudora. Is it possible to use FM's IMAP/POP/SMTP thru proxy/tunnel? I have been trying IMAP with my guest account. No luck (direct without proxy/tunnel works great). I really need a step by step "Idiots guide" to configure Eudora/PuTTY for this! Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!
Odin

try connecting directly through either the SSH port or 443 to proxy.imap.fastmail.fm

Thats what I do and it works well...

The address is wrong; it's "imap.proxy", not "proxy.imap".

What exactly are you trying to achieve? You say you can get though direct without the ssh tunnel.
