Web Mail inbox spam no longer being moved
Until about 2 weeks ago when I logged into web mail and selected mail to be trained in my "Inbox" as spam it would move that mail to my spam filter. Now when I train mail as spam it marks it as spam but leaves it in my "Inbox". This is very distressing. I hate web mail to start with and the thought that I have to sort spam out of my ham mail a second time in order to get rid of it in my inbox gets on my nerves.
I understand that the only way to train spam is by using web mail and I have resigned myself to that fact. However when you get 50 to 70 peices of spam that is not going through "Spam Assasin" thus winding up in my "Inbox" and still I have to deal with it twice. Is there something that has changed and if so is there something I can do to make this process easier? AL |

There have been complaints that the spam training has been taking a long time.
I'm wondering if it's possible that a timeout could be occurring before it completes the whole process. Regards, Rich |

We recently discovered that the Dspam (trainable spam filter) database has grown excessively due to rarely used tokens not being deleted regularly during the past month.
We are now running this process manually, and when completed it should help speed up the training. - Geir |
