Too much emails in INBOX and TRASH, how reduce?
Hello all:
I am using the wonderful Gmail. But in the "inbox" and "trash" there are often thousands of emails. To delete them, each time only delete 50-email, very slow! Are there ways to delete them more or all in one time OR limit the surviving/existing days of the emails such as one-month or one-year? Anyway I want to restricted the garbage, Could you tell me? |

Have you tried "Empty Trash now" located just above the message list?
You can also under Settings, General set "Show xxx conversations per page" to 100. |

If you select all the conversations on the first page by clicking the box in the top left, Gmail will display a small notice and give you the option to select every conversation in your Inbox (or Trash, or any other label) regardless of paging.
It appears right below the toolbar, just above the first conversation. |
