Rep status of neilj?
Member neilj is clearly, from his posts and those of others, an official rep either of FM or of Opera (if there's any real difference these days), but for some reason is not flagged as such.
I wonder why not? Just curious... |

That's a good question.
As the person concerned has 720 posts over the years, you would think that his representative status would be confirmed by now. I do know that someone could give the IMPRESSION of being a representative of a particular company, and wonder what safeguards there are to ensure that if someone is given representative status, that they actually ARE? |

I was under the impression that Neil was an independent consultant for Fastmail in the early stages of development of the service…..
Perhaps Neil never got around to asking Edwin for Representative Status….although longtime EMD members and frequent forum visitors are aware of his Representative Status that he works for Fastmail/Opera. David |

I do wonder to, maybe ask Edwin to sort this out.

I am wondering why (exactly) this would be necessary. Perhaps Neil only works occasionally for the Fastmail/Opera team. Perhaps he also wishes to post his own opinion (sometimes) as it relates to himself. Is this really important, or do we really not have much else to talk about, I am wondering
