Question about hotmail aliases

I am thinking about switching to fastmail for my email accounts, I have a gmail address, 2 domains with emails and a hotmail account that has aliases.

Will I be able to set it up so that my fastmail account has folders like Hotmail for each alias and anything received to those addresses go to their various folders like they do in hotmail?

For example if my hotmail address is me@hotmail.com and I have hotmail aliases of alias1@hotmail.com and alias2@hotmail.com can I have folders for all 3 of those addresses that automatically store emails going to them?

You need to forward emails arriving to your hotmail to fastmail (I think you can do that in hotmail). Once you've done that, you can easily do what you want. It's easy to create filters in fastmail.

Welcome to the forums. Filing rules in FastMail are powerful. Assigning separate Inboxes (and, if desired, Sent folders) for each alias is pretty easy.
