How can I close my EMD account?

Is there a process for permanently closing an EMD account?

After seeing the discussions about HTTPS support it seems that this site is stuck in the 2000's not only in visual appearance, but also in its attitude toward security.

So instead of closing the account, I'm just wiping it. That way, there won't be much there when some kid dumps the user database.

All this HTTPS talk is just scare mongering!!

This is the internet... NOTHING IS DIFFERENT THAN IT WAS 5 YEARS AGO!! (Except control.. They want as much control now as they can get)
