Saving copies of outgoing messages sent using 3rd party clients

Gmail (by default) and Fastmail (optionally) will save copies of messages sent through third party email clients regardless of the settings used in the third party client. I've been looking around in Runbox's settings but so far have not found a similar feature there. I was wondering if anyone here knew whether Runbox can be set to do this.

I don't think there is such a setting in Runbox. In my case (I use K9 mail as client) messages sent from the client were saved in RB from day 1. IIRC the trick was that they went to a different folder than those sent from the web interface (Sent vs Sent Items, something like this). When I tweaked the client, both types of messages end up in the same place.
