5 minute outage

We have to bring the server down for 10 minutes to clear a locked process. Sorry about that... Back soon!

Is it 5 minutes or 10 minutes?

/a sees two different time periods stated...

i wonder if every time the server goes down, it is the worst possible timing for somebody. I would assume so. It just seems so ironic for me that the server went down RIGHT when I really need it. (Late to a meeting - don't know where it is - location is in e-mail inbox) Well, it will be up soon...refresh..refresh..refresh..

When I check to see if it is up, it takes me to some stupid searchwords.com site. Any help on getting rid of it?

Sounds like your browser takes you there because it can't connect to the site, nothing to do with FM.

Internet Explorer does something like this when a site can't be found, but its takes you to MSN Search. So perhaps its a setting in your browser.

Use Mozilla

I already know it has nothing to do with FM as this appears when other sites are unavailable. I just didn't know there was anything wrong with a good ol' 404.

Well, at least the Fastmail staff get on it fast.
I work for a major ISP (no names named) that takes much longer to respond to, and fix, such problems.
