Worldpay (our payment processor) tells us that they're having problems with their servers. I'm working with them at the moment to see what's happening. I know they did a big systems upgrade recently - I hope something hasn't gone too wrong!

I've been trying to create a member account since late this afternoon. I didn't realize there were any issues with the billing server. Called Bank of America and they are stating that no transaction requests are being sent. Error message I've been receiving is:

I understand that it wasn't anything that fastmail.fm caused. Just hope that the billing system is restored so I can create two member accounts. -Dan |

Worldpay is back now, so billing systems are now available again.
Thanks for you patience - sorry about that. |

Still having a problem with the billing. I was getting that same message last night, but now I'm getting a "card declined by issuer" message. After four tries, I contacted the issuer, and they said they haven't declined anything. Seems there is still a disconnect.
Thanks-- Jason |

Thanks for letting us know Jason. Turns out that Worldpay tweaked their systems without telling us just after they fixed their problem... We've updated our billing system now to handle this, and it seems to be working OK again. Thanks for your patience.

I was having the same problems as everybody above. I emailed webmaster@messagingengine.com and they said they'd let me know when the payment system is working again. No word from them yet, but after reading this thread I thought I'd try it again. Tried it again just now and I'm still getting the "declined by your card issuer" message. I'm pretty sure my card is working, though.
Is there still a problem with the worldplay servers? |

Can you PM me your username and details of what you are trying to purchase? I thought things were OK now, and Rob said he'd emailed everyone impacted - somehow we missed you...

Thanks Pran - I found the problem with your payments. You should be right now - just sign up again with identical details.

Thanks for the welcome! And I gotta thank you guys for all the usefull info in these forums. I've been reading posts for the past 3 days and have learned a lot. Now that I've got my fastmail account, I'll see if I can apply that knowledge and get my MX records setup and have a working email system with backups, etc...
It should be a fun couple of days... Pran |
