How to display folders on Smartphone

I have some folders that are "Hide Unless Unread."

I can show it on the laptop by press the "g" key, but I don't know how to do it on a Smartphone. Can anyone tell me how to do it?

Thanks

Arrow Use Advanced Search folder selector tool on mobile devices

Welcome to the EMD Forums!
  • Select the Search email (magnifying glass) area at the top.
  • Then select Advanced search.
  • Use the folder selector at the top of the Advanced search screen to select the folder you desire, then select Done.
  • Select the Search button in the upper right.
  • You will now be reading messages in the folder you selected.

If you remember the name of your hidden folder, then here is an easier method. Say your folder is named Secret. Just type the following in the 'Search email' area:

Code:
in:Secret
and press the return key.

Is there a way to show a list of all folders (including the "Hide unless unread" ones) on my Android Smartphone?

By default, the FastMail app shows the Inbox folder on startup.

-- Tap on < (top left) to access the navigation drawer.
(If the heading says 'Mail' then it will show a list of all 'non-hidden' folders, and will also let you see the emails within any folder.)

-- Tap on v (next to 'Mail') to access the pull-down menu, and select 'Settings'.

-- Then select 'Folders' to see a list of all folders, including the hidden ones.
(Here you can check the number of total emails in folders as well as the number of unread emails, if there any; and edit the folder name, parent, and visibility.)

On my desktop computer one click on "find" displays all folders...
But I guess the Android app can't be as easy...
Thank you Narfi for your help.
Much appreciated
