can anyone enlighten me about why my emails appear to come from mailer-daemon@unspecified domain?

thanks, but the process is stuffing up my communication because with mailer-daemon as a source sometimes my messages do not get through firewalls.

Are you using the web-interface or an email client?

It would appear to me that you don't have a valid from address in your outgoing email, and somewhere along the way the mailer-daemon is being inserted. Can you check your Options->Personalities screen for a valid email in all of your personality entries(if you are using web email), or the settings of your email client for the email address if you are using an email client?
