Outlook.com moving to Office 365
This was announced last June, and started rolling out in February (north america). I'm still waiting.
Once converted the title after the grid icon changes from Outlook.com to Outlook Mail. Email clients like Office Outlook and others can be setup as Exchange accounts, not just Active Sync or IMAP. There are a few Android mail apps that support this, I will try them out. You can speed up the process by opting in here. Here are instructions for setting up the Outlook desktop client. |

As of April this year, the migration has been completed. All outlook.com now have the Office 365 (Exchange) backend, which has been a big improvement, giving a lot more functionality.
