Been using Claws Mail for some time now. Slypheed was good at one time but due to the snail's pace of dev is why there was a fork to Claws.
My two bits, use Claws |

Thanks. I've tried both Claws and Sylpheed in the past. I agree that Claws seems the better of the two. Since it's been a while I figured on giving the new Sylpheed another shot. I'll give Claws a shot too.
Truth be told I am pretty set on my current e-mail client (PocoMail) and doubt either will persuade to switch; but I am always looking. |

I especially liked in this version that you not only have option for "IMAP" or "POP", but also - for "Gmail (IMAP)" and "Gmail (POP)" - they seems to understand that for too many people today Googlemail is the only email reality!
Though of course I won't switch from Evolution anyway. |

Anyway I never could like Evolution, it wasn't because I didn't try. I think a lot of it comes down to it being very buggy. You just can't beat the speed and power of Claws |
