A Dark Theme for FastMail

That feature has been added to the normal and large iOS (iPad) user interface, but not to the small iOS (iPhone) interface. I can't test the Android interface.

its the end as we know it... since the New UI is less usable to me, the lack of the three features I have mentioned many times across two or more threads.... x(

the dark theme looks ok...

PS:

Read receipts:
The FastMail web interface does not respond to requests for read receipts, but will display receipts others have sent to you.
FastMail (Help & Support) --> Send Mail Read Receipts, High Priority

LOL, GOOD GRIEF... so FastMail can send them out in hopes u M.I.G.H.T. maybe/maybe-not receive one...
BUT FastMail doesn't even respond to them if they were to receive them themselves, GOOD GRIEF.... x(
so its not been fully implemented across the all EMAIL PROVIDERS x( x(

the other thing is FastMail didn't seem to settings on one of the settings pages so these two new features could be set to automatically on so users don't have to tick them ever time they start a new draft...

Read receipts were once considered useful. They have since, truly, become immensely useful for spammers wanting to identify live addresses. Most email services do not respond to them (or, at least, provide them as a discouraged option) for that reason. Automatic delivery confirmation seems nice but, in reality, is a bad idea. The last thing email providers want is a deluge of spam to confirmed live addresses on their servers.

GOOD GAWD.. why would FastMail add it then.....
but then again what they did add is only asking for a request of one which is NOT LIKELY to ever be seen or acknowledged..

1) so CHOCK it up to one useless feature FastMail WASTED their time implementing, wheres they could have brought back the three I keep mentioning,
1) Folder Counts, (NEW/Total) right margin aligned...
2) Trash empty link (requires two clicks, )
3) better Search result display that adds a Folder header and [HR] to separate each folders readouts.. in a global search of all mail folders...
which is how it is currently done in the LEGENDARY Classic UI

and most importantly add these as tick-able options on the
SETTINGS(main drop-down menu) --> MAIL --> FOLDERS (top of page preferentially so they are not lost at the bottom of the page...)

That way everyone is happy (LOVERS and HATERS) alike...
