Another one to check out is the cross-platform and portable KeePass (Windows) and KeePassX (other platforms) password safe.

In a related area, you can also use http://www.bugmenot.com/ to avoid having to create a userid/password if you want to look up something one time only.

I am terribly old-school and have a book I keep beside the computer with all my passwords in it.

For my banking pins, I have them memorized and written down on a paper that I have in my safety deposit bank in bank...in the event our house is broken into I didn't want that pin recorded within the premises.

Yes, a bit obsessive-compulsive behaviour here I think... hehe.

It works for me at any rate,

Susan.

Thank you for the cheery welcome back! Roboform is fantastic. Another good password program is http://www.dataviz.com/products/pass...win/index.html. This program doesn't log you in like Roboform, but is a great way to store your password and other information securely, back it up, sync it and print it. SusanUKF, you might like the more old school features it has. You can even customize fields, print it out and put it in your safe deposit box.

I used password plus for many years. After I moved to a winmob device I started using ewallet... http://www.iliumsoft.com/site/ew/ewallet.php

They updated to 256-bit AES FIPS encryption a couple of weeks ago, along with many other improvements.
