ActiveSync with Runbox

Hi,

I've been using Runbox for many years now. The biggest improvment I think they could make would be to add active sync as an option for picking up your e-mails. It's quite frustrating to see free services offering this.

Does anyone know if this is something that Runbox are looking at implementing?

Cheers

Man, you must be crazy. Are POP and IMAP not enough to get your mail?!

Putting jokes aside, ActiveSync enables for synchronizing contacts and calendar, and that would be more useful. But this requires a license from Microsoft. Google has obtained one (I assume you refer to Google when you mention free service).

Greetz,
Kirill

Contacts and calendar in Runbox

We will be developing a better solution for contacts and adding calendar functionallity in the near future, including syncing. But I dont think we will do ActiveSync.

Nice to see you here, Kirill

Not quite true. There are plenty of reverse engineered alternatives out there (eg. Zimbra).

Thanks for the info, it's just so easy for my work mail and seems to use less data on the mobile.
