Is Tuffmail Down?
Can't get Tuffmail this morning. Also the two domains tuffmail.com and tuffmail.net aren't up according to:
http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/tuffmail.com http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/tuffmail.net Anyone else having issues? EDIT: I can reach http://status.tuffmail.net/ and no issues are reported. Last edited by wheeles : 13 Nov 2012 at 06:44 PM. |

I tried to log into Tuffmail's webmail an hour ago. It was down at that time, as was the status page and IMAP. From my testing a minute ago, I still can't access anything.

Just sent a tweet to @tuffmail to query issues. Not sure whether their Twitter account is monitored as there is only one tweet on it. It would certainly make sense for that to be used as alternative channel for reporting issues and status.
EDIT: mxes.net and status.mxes.net also down. Last edited by wheeles : 13 Nov 2012 at 07:43 PM. |

I tried to sign into Tuffmail at 5:20 AM EST, and everything was already completely down at that time. So, the power failure occurred at least an hour before the time stated on the status page.

The IMAP/POP mail machines are still awaiting power. ETA is approximately 10:00AM EST. You will not have access your inbox or be able to log in via webmail during this time. |

Something very peculiar: I have Tuffmail redirecting my incoming email to my Gmail account for backup.
Guess what? I am getting my incoming Tuffmail messages in that Gmail account while Tuffmail is off line... |

UPDATE 11:20AM EST
Mailbox access has been restored to all users. The inbound mail queues are significantly backed up, which means that email will be arriving slowly over the next few hours. Webmail and the Management Interface are still unavailable. ETA for those services is now 1:00PM EST. |
