Thanks for the kind thoughts, but I couldn't possibly take the pay cut. I'm an electronics application engineer and have been in my job at the same company for 30 years this month. And it would be hard to get me to move away from Texas.

I would happily pay more than my $20 a year IF FastMail would sort my mail for me like it used to. I've been so disappointed in the indifference shown to delivering mail to the right address. It's like they're not even trying. My commercial account ends up in my personal account, and my newsletters end up in spam, etc. Every morning I have to go through and put things where they are supposed to be; that never used to be the case. Why did they get so sloppy? Why wouldn't they provide me a reason for this unwanted change? Why won't they try to fix the problem?
I could care less about these new features for which I have absolutely NO USE. I am not smart enough to figure out how to use them; I just want a simple, reliable, and functional email service. |

noclue, I have read about your problems with FastMail for months. I believe I have a solution for you, but I would need to provide it to you in a private message. If you are interested in what I have to say, enable private messages in your account, and I will write you.

It is so humiliating to think I know what I'm doing when I actually don't. Thank you, BritTim.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~, Incredibly, I had that box checked. But I had also checked the "only buddies" box, too. I unchecked it. Last edited by noclue : 18 Nov 2017 at 02:59 PM. |
Ah, Bamb0, we've missed your calm, rational, well-reasoned arguments around here.
I'm sorry to see, however, that you still haven't gotten that stuck caps lock key repaired. |
Seriously.... Wow. Talk about the epitome of entitlement. Fastmail works fabulously for everything I do. I have sold my company on using fastmail and now 20 others use it happily as well. I have encouraged countless people to sign up for fastmail, and I cannot believe how many people I run into that use this service. I run into more each day. We use it because we love it. But, if it makes you feel better to blame me for something you want and don't have, be my guest. |
