Display Style "*"s ??
When I change the display style there's a pull down list of different styles to select from. Some of those styles have an "*" astrisk, what does the "*" mean?
BTW, the display style help has a couple of dead links in it. Russ |

Russ, I believe the asterisk means it has to load an external image as they each have the gradient bars or other images loaded in them.

Thanks Sherry. Did you find this documented somewhere? I looked all over the help/faqs before I posted my question.

I only went by memory. I've been around FM a long time and thought I'd remembered seeing a post or more through the years that the asterisk meant an external file needed to load.

Well that explains why I didn't find it when I was searching, I was only looking where the display styles were described. An extra line of help txt there might be beneficial to the next lost FM user.
I'll avoid the "*"s. I keep coming back to 'Concise' anyway. Russ |

Actually, the problem being described there is no longer true. Given most people use Firefox these days, Firefox does seem to cache images over https, so we've turned them back on for Firefox/Mozilla/Gecko users a while back, so that FAQ entry is obsolete, I'll remove it.
