anybody successfull setting IMAP of eumx.net?

Hi,

Is anybody successfull in setting IMAP setting in Microsoft Outlook for eumx.net??
I tried but unable to connect with the server, it always ask the password.
I dont know what are the exact setting of IMAP of eumx.net.
Can anybody help me in this regard.

I use OE / it work for me
login is user id (with out domain)
imap server is :
mail.eumx.net
port :143

LIke USF, I have been successful in creating an IMAP account in Outlook Express, which should be similar to Outlook.

War17 and USF has right.

IMAP and POP3 server address is: mail.eumx.net
IMAP PORT 143 (default)
POP3 PORT 110 (default)
username is your username (part of your email address before @eumx.net)
password is password.
NOTE: Username is case sensitive too! write your username all lowcased.
I have outlook 2003 and works fine.

Hi Guys,

Now i am unable to send any email with Thunderbird. I got the following error while sending email.

"An error occured while sending mail. The mail server responded: relay not permitted. Please verify that your email address is correct in your Mail preference and try again."

Please help. Thanks

^ Sending is SMTP, not IMAP... (although one can upload old mail to the server using IMAP, but this is not the same thing...)

Eumx.net does not have remote SMTP. So you will have to set up your ISP SMTP server to send emails.
