inbox.eu provides free email hosting

do you know what webmail system they are using with?

The webmail is not one I've seen before. It says "© 2000 – 2019 Inbokss SIA" so it might be bespoke.

I don't quite get the business model that they charge personal users on the inbox.eu domain but give three business mailboxes on the user's own domain for free.

I believe that only ten messages can be sent in a day with a free account. Webmail is Horde based.

I did no test on it. but from their webpage:

Free DNS hosting
No email sending limit
No limit for mailboxes in one domain

They seem don't provide inbox.eu account for free, just have trial.
https://www.inbox.eu/en/prices

while the free domain email's outgoing limit is 50/300 (smtp/webmail), that's enough for a personal usage.

Interesting. I just found they changed their commercial mode, no free mailbox provided.
