A mermaid sunbathing on a REEF would be an admirable view, even if accompanied by insalubrious olfactory effects.

Are you sure you would not REEL back in horror when viewing one of Barnum's fakes?

I worked the tow boats many years ago (out of Vancouver harbour) and would always enjoy looking at (what I thought to be a mermaid) as we sailed past.

I feel that looking at this statue would be a far better experience than looking at Barnum's Feejee.

I meant a real mermaid, not one of the Barnum's fakes, made of FELT

Maybe you are yearning for a CELT mermaid. They usually have red hair or red caps.

I have heard say that a real mermaid wears a belt and think that someone is trying to find a real mermaid. Although they are difficult to find, here is a story of a real celt mermaid, who was stranded when the tide went out.

I can't BEAT such a story (describing a merman who was worried that her merman husband might eat their children if no food was handy).

All BETS are off, I'm returning to superheroes: The Amazing Spider-Man is a sequel to the reboot (whatever this may be).

Did you know that real mermaids have even been caught in fishing nets!

Here is one example of such

I have no clue as to what they are saying.

If it were true we would be hearing about it every day on the NEWS. I believe that is from the same fake Animal Planet documentary, just as bogus as the spam in my Junk Mail folder.

I wonder whether the monster of Loch NESS will ever be caught in a fishing net, and shown on some pseudo-documentary.

Lest I come across as gullible, I will never admit to believing in fairy tales.

Some television producers have a ZEST for confabulation and deceit.

Somebody here wants to TEST how far we can push the game using the letter "zed" (aka "zee") as often as possible
