are u still a member after u cease subscribing to premium services?

does anyone know whether
If i am using the free account and choose to upgrade to enhanced premium service level for 6/12 months then decide not to renew it when that expires,

Am i still gonna be a fastmail member or do i have to pay the $14.95 to become one again?

i couldn't find anything on the faq pertaining to this issue.

AND for the one time storage space upgrade-

does it mean that i pay $99.95 and my account has 500mb to use forever/permanently?

Hmm...I too had this doubt, well the fact is that as of now there is no policy with regard to your status if you don't renew your premium membership...lets just keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best eh?

You don't pay for your hard disk every year, do you?

But you do have to pay for premium service every year...

Same thing in many other places...

We're close to finalising our policy about free membership after a subscription runs out. We're trying to make sure that most people can get the free membership, but we want to close a few loopholes...
