free cloud storage list

I found this blog giving a full list of free cloud storage.

https://www.briskbard.com/blog/?q=node/49

In this article you’ll only find the free services that allow you to use most of their features with a web browser like BriskBard.

In may cases these services also offer you a custom application for computers, phones and other devices to make backup copies, synchronize files, etc.

Some of these services can be used with WebDAV which allows you to see your online cloud storage as a network drive in "My Computer".

As many other free services, the providers in this list show ads and limit the service in the hopes of getting more subscribers for their “premium” plans. Those premium plans don’t have ads and the limitations disappear.

This list is 2 years old and out-dated. Hubic hasn't allowed new signups for the past 2 years. Mega now allows only 20 mgs of storage on free accounts. Of course, you can always purchase additional storage, but it is not cheap. The link below provides a list of free storage providers as of August 2021.

Thank you for posting this!

Hubic is no longer accepting new subscriptions!

Quiver no longer offering 100GB free storage space it seems, only 1 gig!

Box if limited free

but the list still helped!

This one was not on the list but maybe they see it is not worth endorsing!
storage but I find it sketchy at best cuz it is so inconsistent
with the other services! In other words it seems so bland!

Amazon Drive isn't free, unless you are an Amazon Prime member (which isn't free either).

One drive still offers free storage. It’s non free but have a look at www.IDrive.com and lifetime deal prices. Diego I think is intended for photos. There’s also Google drive.

I’m not sure what yahoo do at present.

If you were looking for a small fast storage, I suggest magentacloud.de
it's from the DE telecom, really good network connection. so putting/fetching files fast.

If you or your family member was a teacher, you can apply from MS Onedrive for 1TB store for free, submitting the edu email address. My wife is a teacher in university, she got that.
