The easiest way is to resize the image (IrfanView is a good simple program that can do this in MS Windows) before including it within the message.

IrfanView has a Save for Web option (with a plugin). I frequently use and recommend. |

Craigslist limits the size of pictures. It does so to protect its own servers/databases from becoming overloaded. This is not appropriate for email where you sometimes really do want to send a large, high resolution image to someone. You need to paste or attach the picture in the correct size for email.

You can also create a website or a photo gallery on FM and link them to the image with or without password protection.

Then you upload photos, or any other files to Dropbox. You can either doing it by installing Dropbox app on your PC, that creates a folder called dropbox - then all the files are uploaded automatically to your cloud storage. Once they are there you can generate either private or public link to the folder/file you are willing to share and paste the generated link to your message. It also works without installation, then you need to login to your account via webbrowser, upload files..and then the rest related to sharing works very similar. This guide also applies if you are willing to use other cloud, for example GDrive or Onedrive. With Fastmail webmail it can be simplified even further but first you need to integrate your Fastmail account with your Dropbox account. The brief description I have provided earlier will work with any webmail, desktop client. |
