safe-mail.net now tor-hostile?

Apparently it's no longer possible to reach the imap server over tor. Anyone else tried? Normally this is the fetchmail configuration:
Quote:
poll www.safe-mail.net
plugin "socat STDIO SOCKS4A:127.0.0.1:%h:%p,socksport=9050"
protocol imap
port 993
username "billy.idol@safe-mail.net"
ssl
sslcertck
sslfingerprint "A4:EE:10:C4:B0:687:B4:21D:56:C8D:1E:59:CA"
fetchall
The docs imply that pop.safe-mail.net (which strangely was the former name of the imap server) has changed to "www.safe-mail.net". Both hosts hang. Safe-mail does not exactly have a live and let live philosophy, considering how accounts suddenly get locked without explanation for some people (who are then left wondering what rule they are suspected to have broken).

Safe-mail has a rule against masking the *origin* of messages, so it doesn't follow that web users would be able to connect to tor, and not imap users.

Anyway, it's at best a diagnostic test account for me, so no big deal if I cannot use it. Shameful hit on the tor community overall though, if their imap server is deliberately dropping tor packets.
