Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone!

server1 users will find that mail is delayed by around 40 minutes, since our delivery servers are busy servicing the giant queues.

During problems we generally have just one person post to the forum. Otherwise, we tend the say the same thing at the same time from multiple people, and waste time we could be working on the problem.

Since my account has yet to be restored, how do I get on server1 so I can get a 40 minute delay?

Incidently, it's my birthday today - not a great way to spend it!
Happy birthday, Jeremy! Hope you have time to celebrate at least a bit after all this nightmare ends

Only my full account (which I consider my main one) is on server4, and is already working as of today. My member account is on another server

I've never thought about leaving FM, and I have no plans to do so. I still think FM offers a very good and reliable service. And I know that when something big like this happens, you guys will be working to get the problem solved ASAP. And I know that you always give us an honest answer and let us know the mistakes and everything . I can't say the same about big email providers.

So, a big thanks to you, Rob, and all the FM staff.

Lily
A long time happy FM customer

Agggghhh, I'm in the 20% too. But Jeremy, all things considered this is a great email provider and you should be proud of it. Iron out these glitches, get the name about, offer a few more Gigabytes for free, and this could be a Google revolution for email. Hang in there pal.

Full account still down here on server 4, but my 2nd full account on server 3 *appears* to still be working fine.

I'm a 'ditto' with Lily, of having no plans of leaving FM. As other's have said, "S**T" happens. It's a part of life that we have to deal with, each in their own way. Choices are to be made & I'm sure a good many I've seen posting, will most likely decide to leave FM, but I'm not going anywhere.

A belated Happy Birthday Jeremy, and here's hoping future one's are all bright & full of cheer.

I now have access to my server 4 (main) account !!
<happy dance> YAY !! </happy dance>

Thanks FM team. I know all of you have been *very* hard at work to accomplish this. And it's still Saturday night on East Coast, so I feel my account was certainly restored within the timeframe stated. Before, when attempting to log-in, it showed status of probably not being back up til *after* the weeknd.

High 5's FM crew!

I second that! Jeremy kindly restored my account soon after I PM'ed him, and I'm back in business.

D*mn!

server4 IMAP accounts so fast in Outlook now.

Now get rid of that spam lickety split!

Never faster in Outlook - though just started using it few months ago - OE prior.

Instead of going to individual Outlook account spam, Junk E-Mail, other names, folders, to look for possible non-spam, have disabled spam filtering in Fastmail web interface and have Outlook Junk mail filter disabled.

Use SpamBayes Outlook plugin so all goes to 'Personal Folder' 'Junk E-Mail'.

Maybe better way to have all filtered junk email go to common folder in Outlook?

Anyway, no 'network issues' right now. It's all so fast, 'right now'!
